Sample Itinerary
Day 01

Arrival Karachi. Check in at Hotel. Afternoon of leisure. Overnight in Karachi.

Day 02

City tour to Karachi - tour includes visit to the Karachi Museum and visit to the Mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam as well as a drive around Clifton beaches. In the afternoon, a tour of the shopping centres is arranged. Alternates available to the Shopping Centres:

  • Trip to the Beaches
  • Crab Fishing in the Karachi harbor.
Overnight at Karachi.
Day 03

Morning flight to Mohenjodaro to see the ruins of the Indus Valley civilization which date back to 5000 years. Late afternoon return to Karachi. Overnight at Karachi.

Day 04

Depart for Chokundi Tombs, Banbhore and Thatta by road Thatta has the largest necropolis in the world with beautifully engraved sandstone on the graves - excellent specimens of art motifs - enroute visit Halijee Lake (in winter this lake is one of Asia's biggest water fowl sanctuaries). Lunch at PTDC Keenjhar Lake Resort. Overnight at PTDC Keenjhar Lake Resort.

Day 05

Early morning departure by road for Karachi airport to take flight for Lahore, arrival at Lahore and check in at Hotel. Afternoon city tour of the great Moghal city. Tour includes visit to Shalimar Gardens and the Lahore Museum. Overnight in Hotel.

Day 06

Full day sight seeing of Lahore. Tour includes a visit to Badshahi Mosque and the Lahore Fort as well as Jehangir's Mausoleum and Noor Jehan's tomb. Jehangir's Mausoleum is a perfect specimen of great Moghul architecture. In the afternoon visit Wazir Khan Mosque inside the Delhi Gate and a tour of Anarkali Bazaar via fort. Overnight stay in Lahore.

Day 07

Early morning flight for Rawalpindi. Check in at Hotel. Afternoon city tour of Rawalpindi/Islamabad. Tour includes the exciting new Capital of Pakistan and the low hills of Margalla where spectacular views of the twin cities are available. Overnight in Hotel.

Day 08

Departure by coach to Taxila en route to Peshawar. Visit Taxila Museum and Buddhist sites of importance. Continue to Peshawar. Arrival at Peshawar. Check in at Hotel. Afternoon tour of the great Peshawar city. Tour includes visit to Qissa Khawani Bazaar, also known as the street of storytellers. Overnight in Peshawar.

Day 09

Tour of famous Khyber Pass through which marched all the great conquerors into Indo-Pak plains (in case Khyber Pass can not be visited then a tour of Peshawar and its environs will be arranged). Overnight in Peshawar.

Day 10

Departure by coach for Swat en route stop at Takht-i-Bahi which is an ancient Buddhist monastery dating back 540 A.D. Check in at Swat Serena Hotel. Afternoon visit to Swat Museum. Overnight in Swat Hotel.

Day 11

Departure for Kalam. Lunch at Kalam. Group returns to Miandam. Afternoon tea at Miandam and back to Saidu Sharif for overnight.

Day 12

Departure by coach over Shangla Pass to Besham and onwards to Gilgit with packed lunches. Afternoon visit to Shatial and Chillas to see the rock carvings. Overnight in Gilgit.

Day 13

Departure for Hunza. Sightseeing all along the route which is surrounded by some of the tallest mountains in the world and dominated by the Rakaposhi Peak. Hunza is itself known for the longevity of the residents. Group visits famous forts and reaches Gulmit village in the evening. Overnight in Gulmit.

Day 14

Full day at leisure to explore this quaint little village which has an incredible "original" little museum, a typical polo field and a school. Overnight in Gulmit.

Day 15

Departure for Gilgit. Afternoon, witness polo match especially arranged for the group. Polo originated in Gilgit and is found there in its roughest form still.

Day 16

Day trip to Naltar with packed lunches. Overnight in Gilgit.

Day 17

Flight for Rawalpindi. In case of bad weather the group will drive down to Rawalpindi. Should the flight operate, group will check in at hotel. Afternoon free for shopping. Overnight in Rawalpindi.

Day 18

Departure for Murree. Will check in Cecil's Hotel Murree. Remaining part of the day at leisure.

Day 19

Departure for Rawalpindi, to catch flight for Quetta. Reach Quetta. Aftenoon, tour of Quetta. Overnight in Quetta.

Day 20

Full day visit to Ziarat. Overnight at PTDC Complex, Ziarat. Ziarat is known for its juniper forests and its extremely lovely surroundings.

Day 21

Departure for Quetta to catch the flight for Karachi for onward destination.
